Requirements

  • Successfully completed engineering or business degree or related field
  • Specialization in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering/electrical engineering or equivalent (advantage)
  • Extensive knowledge of the diesel genset market in assigned regions (strong advantage)
  • Ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance satisfaction
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of selling strategies and ability to communicate product/service value aligned with customer needs
  • Fluent German and business-level English skills, both written and spoken (minimum level B2/C1)
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in the office five days a week (except during business travel)
  • Located in Germany (no relocation or ISE offered)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage channel partner relationships to market the FG WILSON brand, products, and services in Germany
  • Assist in the development of business growth and sales capabilities
  • Support FG WILSON Diesel genset (and extended portfolio) business growth in the region, from new genset sales and aftermarket service perspectives
  • Develop new customers in the region
  • Support and develop distribution channels
  • Collaborate closely with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Engineering Consulting companies for early engagement on relevant projects
  • Continuously develop FG WILSON presence in assigned regions, including organizing and participating in industrial workshops, conferences, and trade fairs (in collaboration with FG WILSON head office)
  • Supervise preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with stakeholders at FG WILSON head office
  • Manage and support technical and commercial proposal negotiations with direct customers and partners, in coordination with FG WILSON decision-makers
  • Ensure high level of forecast accuracy for incoming orders and work closely with line management for timely product delivery
