  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Broad knowledge of sales techniques and a strong ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in Swedish as well as English
  • Used to working independently with a high level of time management skills and sound listening skills
  • Passion for new technologies and revolutionary products and keen to make a difference
  • Ability to travel and a clean driver’s license
  • Knowledge of the Swedish health care sector would be an advantage
  • Can-do attitude who are result-driven and hands-on with a strong commitment to accountability

Responsibilities

  • Selling and promoting the full range of Medtronic Advanced Surgical Technology products in assigned accounts in the Southwest Sweden (Gothenburg) area in a professional manner to hospitals and related healthcare professionals
  • Management of quality and consistency of product and service delivery
  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share by developing and presenting commercial offers
  • Present and sell Stapling and Access & Instruments products and services to current and potential clients
  • Support and advise the physician on the correct use of Medtronic devices and establish education material for the company's products and/or services
  • Optimize tender management in your territory and manage relevant stakeholders throughout the procurement process including surgeons, nurses, procurement officials, etc
  • Prepare presentations and proposals and conduct market research as well as implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
  • Communicate with external customers and/or vendors, involving basic negotiation and presentations
