Requirements

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area, and a minimum of five years of experience in building material sales, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong dealer relationships, particularly with lumber yards. They should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and a foundational understanding of pre-finished wood products, primer, paint, and stain application techniques.

Responsibilities

The Territory Manager will be responsible for increasing sales volume and profitability by collaborating closely with distributor Account Managers to foster sales, enhance brand awareness, and educate the market on EDGE products. They will aggressively seek new customers using a pull-through strategy, build relationships with builders and specifiers, implement planned sales and marketing strategies, and serve as an expert on all aspects of the EDGE product line. Furthermore, they will ensure distributors and retailers are educated on promotions and leads, travel as required, apply business and lumber math, and demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
