Requirements

  • Ability to develop and execute customer management plans
  • Authority to approve expiry products, issue credit notes, recommend distributor appointments and credit limits
  • Capability to plan resource utilization and participate in strategy execution review meetings
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Tolerance for continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)

Responsibilities

  • Plan monthly and quarterly business, trade activation, demand generation and fulfillment
  • Monitor actual sales, perform mid-course corrections, and provide inputs to reduce variance against expectations
  • Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitors' brands
  • Create and update customer lists (doctors/chemists) as per therapy/product requirements and maintain in physical/electronic format
  • Identify potential towns, appoint distributors and customers in line with business philosophy
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by ethically promoting company products
  • Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion
  • Organize camps (CME) as per division strategy and customer needs
  • Carry out activations across trade and clinics for brand visibility
  • Plan and conduct merchandising and sampling activities as per division strategy
  • Facilitate new product launches by identifying/targeting customers, meeting them at intervals, promoting in clinics/trade, and providing feedback
  • Execute customer management plan ensuring 100% doctor coverage, customer call average as per plan, market intelligence collection, and retailer inventory management
  • Ensure visibility of Abbott brands at retailers' outlets as part of brand promotion strategy
  • Plan and attend retail meets, market blitzes, etc., for sales growth
  • Supervise/manage distributor network to achieve sales objectives, financial, and ethical goals
