Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience
  • High School degree required
  • Experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room
  • Experience leading a large territory
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve established goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and social skills
  • Ability to travel 50% or more, with potential for remote work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas through direct sales of products and services
  • Grow awareness and educate physicians on accurate use of products in on-label surgical procedures
  • Provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect
  • Monitor sales against forecasts and participate in market potential determination
  • Coordinate with hospital administration, supply chain management, materials management, and purchasing
  • Demonstrate support for other people and teams
  • Participate and contribute to efforts beyond own scope of responsibilities
  • Provide feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel
  • Develop and implement marketing programs, product line revisions, and pricing changes
