Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in compensation, including market pricing, benchmarking, and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep expertise with PayFactors, including benchmarking, job matching, reporting, and data management
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, and benchmarking methodologies
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, data validation, and modeling)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage complex data migration projects independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly
  • Ability to balance strategic compensation expertise with hands-on technical execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual-first environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with PayScale’s legacy system and its data structures

Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of compensation benchmarking data from PayScale’s legacy platform to the new PayFactors system
  • Ensure accurate transfer, validation, and analysis of compensation data for all unique positions
  • Work closely with People Operations to streamline the transition and maintain data integrity
  • Support compensation benchmarking needs during the migration period
