University Degree in Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent) or Trade qualification with additional tertiary education
5+ years of hands on experience in automation and related products
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
Experience or understanding of DCS solutions, IIoT platforms and SAAS offerings (viewed favourably)
Prior experience in customer facing roles partnering with sales teams and customers (preferred)
Enjoys a role which has a mix of technical / commercial exposure (preferred)

Responsibilities

Direct and guide the commercial and technical sales support activities for Rockwell's comprehensive portfolio of Software and Control solutions
Work to develop new business opportunities and support Sales when opportunities are identified
Guide the team as a commercial and technical product expert to develop and present system solutions, and support closure of complex technical sales
Provide feedback to the Business on market and competitor activities and future needs
Support distributors and system integrators in conveying the value of our products and technology
Support the launch of new products to the sales teams and channel
