  • Rooftop HVAC Units: Knowledge of package roof top HVAC units
  • Condenser & Chiller Knowledge: Understanding of condenser and chiller operation
  • Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines (i.e., EPA, OSHA standards)
  • 24/7 on-call availability to address emergencies and perform preventative maintenance
  • Onsite location requirement

Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response: Report all situations requiring emergency and/or immediate action to the appropriate personnel
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot various systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on designated equipment
  • Equipment Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment as needed
  • System Adjustments: Adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to ensure proper operation
  • Compliance Administration: Administer compliance of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to areas such as fire, safety, hazardous material, and access
  • Routine Services: Provide routine services including preventive maintenance, filter cleaning, parts delivery, and assistance to higher-level mechanics
  • Scheduling: Schedule preventative maintenance programs as assigned by management
  • Work Order Management: Coordinate work orders and maintain the integrity of the Work Order System
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, Material Safety Data Sheets, supplies, equipment, and tools are maintained
  • Electrical Repairs: Replace defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, lighting components, fuses, and basic electrical wiring
  • Other Tasks: Perform other job-related tasks as directed by management
  • Maintain all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment within the Plaza at King of Prussia
