Requirements
Candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English (both verbal and written), common knowledge of Microsoft technologies, workplace processes, and IT infrastructure. Previous experience in a customer support environment is advantageous, along with exceptional customer-facing skills, the ability to implement exceptional customer service, and good analytical and problem-solving abilities. They should also be able to manage their time effectively, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently while also being a strong team player. Strong working knowledge of current Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Windows Database server and SQL Server performance tools, and a solid understanding of TCP/IP and fundamental networking concepts are required.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Consultant, the individual will serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding IT and Business Application questions related to Unit4 ERP solutions, providing professional, efficient, and effective support. They will investigate and document application defects, handle customer escalations, take ownership of complex issues, and keep customers updated on progress. The role involves liaising with colleagues and R&D, proactively identifying potential escalation risks, coordinating resource requirements, and presenting process improvements to enhance the customer experience. They will also train and mentor less experienced team members, work collaboratively within a team environment, and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
