Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (±16 years) preferably in Electronic/Biomedical/Biology/Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting highly technical medical devices in an office-based environment through phone, email, and text communication
  • Proven ability to assess, troubleshoot, and provide effective solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Proven technical troubleshooting skills
  • Foundational knowledge of electronics
  • Language Proficiency: English Expert, Spanish Expert

Responsibilities

  • Provides independent clinical and technical support in response to inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff using professional knowledge and judgment
  • Assures timely response and closed loop follow-up to clinicians, patients, and company representatives by phone and/or email
  • Fields questions and documents all contacts via an approved tracking system per department SOP/DWIs, including Field Contact Reports
  • Acquires the necessary CRM training and experience to function as a Tech Service Specialist through reading, attending courses/classes, and shadowing other Technical Service agents
  • Remains current on developments in the field(s) of expertise, applicable regulatory requirements and restrictions, knowledge of the company’s products, markets, policies, and objectives, as well as industry trends
  • Under the direction of a mentor, observes device implant and follow-up procedures
  • Works additional hours, days, or schedules (including other shifts, weekends, and/or holidays), if directed
