Technical Recruiter
Position Overview
Sardine is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent team. This role is instrumental in attracting and hiring exceptional technical talent for our Engineering and Product organizations as we scale. You will act as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with hiring managers and leadership to shape hiring strategies, manage key searches, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.

Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle hiring process, from initial outreach to offer extension, with a strong emphasis on candidate experience, speed, and quality.
- Independently manage stakeholder expectations for top-of-funnel initiatives across Product Engineering and AI/ML teams.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to drive strategic hiring in high-impact technical areas.
- Enhance hiring velocity through proactive pipeline building, efficient process management, and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide hiring teams with market insights, funnel data, and recruiting best practices to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to shaping Sardine’s employer brand and outreach narrative for technical candidates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth, product-led tech environments.
- Proven ability to recruit across various engineering domains (e.g., backend, infrastructure, AI/ML, security).
- Experience in fintech or high-growth tech startups is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Clear and compelling written and verbal communication style.
- High ownership mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: CA$150,000 - CA$210,000 CAD (Base pay range; actual compensation may vary based on location, qualifications, work history, and interview performance).
