Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, business operations, or sales, ideally within deep tech or hard tech verticals
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing technical candidates in competitive markets
- Strong understanding of engineering roles and organizational structures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
- Obsession with building excellent teams
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with Department of Defense contracting or cleared hiring processes
- Proficiency with recruiting platforms such as Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Passion for emerging defense technology and innovation in national security
- Proven ability to build and scale recruitment processes from the ground up
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and leadership teams to define role requirements and create compelling job descriptions
- Source, screen, and manage candidates across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, technical forums, and industry events
- Drive the full recruitment lifecycle — from outreach and interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill technical roles
- Implement scalable recruiting processes and tools to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience
- Serve as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and candidate engagement best practices
- Represent Mach Industries as a brand ambassador at recruiting events, conferences, and university partnerships
