Responsibilities

  • Provide a full development life cycle program including project management, budget operations, strategic development, and tracking
  • Use technical background to implement technology strategies and ensure effective delivery
  • Lead a team of network engineers and architects in supporting DHS
  • Knowledge of various Cloud Service Provider Offerings
  • Develop roadmaps, implement best practices, and design repeatable processes
  • Manage assessment of network tools, gather user requirements, define modules missing, determine product advantages and disadvantages
  • Assist and provide insight to DHS to ensure stewardship is accomplished and maintained
  • Identify and resolve risks, issues and dependencies
  • Identify internal and external dependencies
  • Perform research and development including bake offs on products
  • Update project information on SharePoint/JIRA/Confluence sites
  • Provide weekly status reports on project progress
  • Provide monthly invoices including a summary page itemizing costs at the project level Program Management Report (PMR) monthly
