Requirements

  • High school Graduate or GED
  • 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Industrial Maintenance Technician apprenticeship or equivalent from a recognized community college or trade school (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with production equipment
  • Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment
  • Assist Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Services personnel as necessary with escalated issues
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Services, Maintenance, and VEGA Germany to resolve Manufacturing equipment problems
  • Train Production personnel on proper use of tools and equipment
  • Accompany third party technicians when Maintenance is unavailable
  • International travel, as required
