Physical role involving moving around a large factory and lifting up to 20kg
Previous experience gained within a similar role
Mechanically minded with working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills
A confident and forward thinking team player
Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving
Ideally Food Safety level 1

Responsibilities

Basic proactive maintenance of equipment
Carry out minor repairs on machinery
Operate machinery as part of the production team
Complete daily safety start up checks
Respond to first instance blockages and stoppages
Regular cleaning of equipment
Liaise with the Engineering department on matters associated with the equipment
Support the production team on clear down days to clean the picking loops and/or repack area
