Responsibilities

  • Lead regional customer and employee education and training activities in support of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) procedure and product launches
  • Partner with key leadership, field, and cross-functional personnel to identify opportunities for and barriers to improving district and region performance
  • Provide feedback to product development, quality, education, and marketing teams regarding product performance to improve future offerings
  • Serve as the customer and field technical resource in CRM, providing expertise and leadership in Physician and Fellows education, AHP education, clinical evidence interpretation, and Medtronic employee education
  • Provide implant or clinic coverage as requested by the needs of the region
  • Train and educate internal teams and external customers on CRM procedures, therapies/products, processes, and solutions
  • Provide continued education and assessment of tenured field team
  • Lead coordination of new-hire training with accountability to hiring manager (DM or DSM) and responsible for new hire field sign-off
  • Understand competitive technology and therapies and craft a message as to why Medtronic devices provide a competitive advantage; disseminate competitive information to regional teams and deliver competitive training to field service and sales staff
  • Deliver tailored training and education on Medtronic products, competitive products, clinical evidence, and the changing marketplace to enhance the technical and sales skills of local sales and service teams
  • Deliver new product and procedural field training and ensure that all required technical and clinical evidence for products is delivered in a manner that field teams can articulate to customers
  • Enhance relationships with current and future stakeholders by delivering strategic and innovative education to promote Medtronic products and therapies, focusing on clinical value, and engage with the Regional Economics Manager for economic value conversations
  • Translate complex technical messaging, dispel competitive claims, resolve complex technical issues, and maintain customer relationships through technical expertise
  • Understand, interpret, and participate in communication of product and procedure updates and field corrective actions pertinent to Medtronic products and therapies
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Organization relative to clinical studies and physician research
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute strategic technical and clinical training
