Requirements

Candidates should possess proven experience in Progress OpenEdge development, specifically progress 4GL, webspeed / PAS, or another programming language, along with hands-on experience in Web Technologies such as CSS, HTML, Javascript, JSON, XSLT, and XML. They must demonstrate a proven ability to analyze and solve problems, complemented by strong communication and presentation skills and the capacity to see solutions through to completion.

Responsibilities

The Technical Consultant will be responsible for scoping the requirements for bespoke solutions, including third-party integrations and customer-specific web portals, and producing Statements of Works with clear estimates. They will develop, test, implement, and maintain custom solutions for MRI’s HousingOne customers, utilizing Progress 4GL development environment, Progress Webspeed, and Progress AppServer technology. Additionally, the role involves undertaking detailed investigations of customer issues, providing timely workarounds and solutions, and occasionally working evenings and weekends for scheduled work at overtime rates.
