Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure or network software. Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern DevOps practices, and managing remote offshore teams is essential. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required, along with a passion for mentoring engineering talent. Preferred experience includes a strong understanding of DDI technologies, cloud-native architectures, API-first design, and familiarity with DNS, DHCP, IPAM platforms or network security solutions.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineering Manager will lead and grow a team of software engineers across multiple locations, driving the execution of product roadmap initiatives in collaboration with Product Management and Architecture. Key responsibilities include championing engineering excellence through CI/CD, test automation, and secure coding practices, guiding the team through architectural modernization including RESTful API development and UI/UX enhancements, and fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. The manager will also collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of features across on-prem and cloud deployments.
