Requirements

Candidates must possess over 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management role. A strong understanding of technologies used in application development, including C# and React, is required. Proven expertise in designing and building APIs and service-based architectures, deep understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure, and demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices are essential. Experience working in or leading teams in the Fintech industry is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineering Manager will lead, mentor, and grow multiple software engineering teams across various platforms and products. They will collaborate cross-functionally with Product and UX to drive features from concept to production, and oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications, microservices, and APIs. Responsibilities include ensuring high standards of engineering excellence and Agile practices, supporting continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes, managing technical debt, planning for growth, and ensuring platform reliability. The manager will also provide hands-on support and guidance on code, architecture, and infrastructure, communicate priorities and plans to the team, and train/coach employees for career growth.
