Requirements

  • B.Com/MBA (Finance) with 7+ years of total experience & 3-4 years in related industry (financial services)
  • Strong operations knowledge including secondary review & controls, risks & mitigation (demonstrated through examples/evidence)
  • Day-to-day team management experience, including mentoring/coaching team members and sharing feedback (demonstrated through examples/evidence)
  • Analytical ability, problem-solving, and escalation of issues (demonstrated through examples/evidence)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to independently address technical & non-technical issues, conduct knowledge share/training sessions, proactively troubleshoot, manage escalations, and work with global teams
  • Experience interpreting operational elements of Risk and Compliance policies and overseeing adherence
  • Knowledge of Global Markets, Trade & Settlement, Custody Services, Securities Operations, Corporate Actions, and exposure to Fundmaster, GCM, WCM, MTS video Lan applications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of NA transition teams (New Business, Conversions, Restructure/Termination teams within GCO), including teams of up to 8-12 Senior Analysts, Consultants, and/or Technical Coordinators
  • Provide guidance to partners to strengthen controls and mitigate risk
  • Organize team work, assign tasks, set short-term priorities, monitor activities, and ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Act as first point of escalation for risk and control-related matters
  • Conduct performance management, career development processes, staffing, and disciplinary actions
  • Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact, delivering work requiring little revision
  • Interact directly with committees and/or Senior Management as needed
  • Serve as key subject matter expert and mentor team members
  • Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work
  • Provide input and support to budget management process
  • Flexible for stretch assignments
