Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a Master’s degree preferred, and should have at least 10 years of progressive tax experience, with a strong focus on international tax, particularly in Asia. Demonstrated expertise in tax planning and structuring across multiple jurisdictions, including Singapore, China, India, Korea, Malaysia, and Australia, is essential, as is a thorough understanding of local and international tax laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

The Tax Manager / Senior Manager will liaise with professional accounting firms and global law firms to develop and execute tax planning and structuring for client companies, oversee and prepare tax filings for multiple jurisdictions, develop strategies and policies to ensure compliance with tax laws, identify and propose solutions for tax issues, and provide ongoing tax support and oversight of Asia Pacific investments for HCVT Private Equity. The role will involve reporting directly to the Principal, Asia Tax in Singapore and indirectly to the Partner, Asia Tax in the United States, and collaborating with the broader HCVT tax engagement team.
