Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience conducting research on Chinese geopolitical and transnational issues, including producing intelligence assessments and handling ad-hoc requests for information (RFIs). Strong proficiency in reading Mandarin Chinese is required, along with a deep understanding of Chinese government bureaucracies and their disposition towards cyber operations. Additionally, candidates need knowledge of the country’s military, intelligence, and public security organizations, and a general understanding of Chinese and other Asia-Pacific cyber adversaries, including their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and relationships to government entities. An undergraduate degree in cybersecurity, general intelligence studies, security studies, criminal justice, political science, or international relations, or equivalent military training, is also required.
The Senior Intelligence Analyst will analyze China and compose long- and short-form finished intelligence reports related to national and transnational events, understanding the dynamics of regional cyber adversaries. They will research, assess, and report on specific cyber threat actors and adversary capabilities, motivations, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), provide clear and concise written responses to customer requests for information (RFIs), and contribute to briefings where necessary. The role involves working collaboratively with analysts, technical experts, and customer-facing personnel, assisting in research prioritization efforts and intelligence gap identification.
