Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or Master's in Tax being preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant tax experience, including a combination of public accounting and in-house corporate tax, is required. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax law and international tax issues, such as transfer pricing and foreign entity compliance, is essential. A working knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provision processes, along with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Tax Manager will oversee the company's global tax function, managing and coordinating U.S. federal, state, and foreign income tax filings. Responsibilities include supporting tax planning initiatives, managing transfer pricing policies and documentation, assisting with annual tax provision calculations under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740), and liaising with external advisors and auditors. The role also involves identifying tax-saving opportunities, monitoring tax law developments, supporting M&A due diligence, assisting with Form 8802 applications, and partnering with internal teams to provide tax guidance on various business decisions.
