Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, with a focus on employment and labor laws, business laws, contract review, and previous team management experience. Advanced fluency in English and Chinese is required, along with proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to assess compliance risks, and a proactive approach to staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations is expected. Previous experience working remotely is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Compliance Manager, you will ensure compliance with all relevant employment and contract laws in the regions needed, draft and review contracts for clients and vendors, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will develop and implement policies and procedures to promote and ensure compliance with legal requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct internal audits and assessments, and conduct training sessions for employees to enhance awareness of compliance issues and requirements. Additionally, you will investigate and respond to compliance-related concerns, coordinating with legal counsel when necessary, and lead the Compliance team, providing guidance and directions.
