The ideal candidate is a law student or recent graduate, preferably with coursework in contract law or employment law, possessing native-level proficiency in Simplified Chinese and strong English communication skills. They should also demonstrate a proactive approach to staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations, along with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality, and prior internship or part-time experience in legal settings is a plus.
The Legal Intern will ensure compliance with all relevant employment and contract laws in the regions needed, draft and review contracts for clients and vendors, developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote and ensure compliance with legal requirements. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct internal audits and assessments, investigate and respond to compliance-related concerns, and conduct training sessions for employees to enhance awareness of compliance issues and requirements.
