Responsibilities

  • Support employees in identifying their purpose of working at AIG through talent/performance management and culture & inclusion activities
  • Conduct talent planning and assessment consistent with global processes and approaches to deploy employees with the right skillsets to the right positions, maximizing individual potential and performance for sustainable profitable growth of AIG Japan
  • Partner with global T&I team, provide input and insights to ensure smooth local implementation of talent planning (talent review and succession planning)
  • Serve as advisor to local HRBPs for annual talent review design (e.g., data collection methods, critical role identification, talent discussion needs, development action plan tracking), aligning with business needs
  • Analyze talent data from planning results to create local talent dashboard visualizing AIG-wide talent trends (e.g., talent potential assessment overview, succession candidate trends)
  • Prepare materials for succession plan discussions, facilitate sessions, manage follow-ups (e.g., distributing minutes), and ensure discussions lead to actual actions
  • Plan and implement "Talent Forum" where senior leaders discuss/decide and monitor development actions for high-potential (hipo) talents
  • Educate people managers to ensure consistency across talent review, performance review, and compensation review, analyzing results/trends to retain high performers
  • Analyze talent review and succession trends, provide insights to Japan HRLT, collaborate with HRBPs to derive and execute solutions
  • Build tracking processes for talent management actions to prove they result in behavioral transformation
  • Assess organizational issues from business voices, identify problems, support solution discovery, and provide tools/methods for high team/department performance and engagement
  • Design and implement workshops/team building activities upon request from business functions
