Requirements

  • Live within commuting distance of Hudl offices in Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska (not considering fully remote candidates outside Nebraska)
  • Several years of experience in technical recruiting (corporate or RPO), with ability to speak the language of software engineers and proven track record in early-stage talent assessment
  • Experience consulting with and presenting to leaders within a global product team
  • Understanding of key recruitment metrics (KPIs) and ability to use data to tell a compelling story
  • Understanding of key talent markets (regionally or functionally) from prior experience solving talent challenges
  • Strong ability to communicate in a group setting, both within the Talent Acquisition team and with stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle: manage relationships with hiring leaders, consult on talent strategy, and recruit candidates from first contact to offer for approved vacancies
  • Build talent pools by headhunting passive candidates using platforms like LinkedIn and sourcing tools, and use CRM tools to nurture pools for current and future needs
  • Act as a strategic partner: proactively produce hiring data for manager reviews, offer solutions to talent needs, and work with managers to meet diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) targets
  • Conduct great interviews using progressive selection techniques, adapt style to summarize role and culture fit, and handle very technical interviews for high-level positions when needed
  • Drive process improvement: utilize tools to review and provide feedback on interviews, identify up-skilling opportunities for interviewers, and develop nimble recruiting practices while staying compliant with policy and legislation
  • Contribute to team projects by leading individual work-streams and collaborating with internal and external resources to deliver results
