Requirements

  • Technical engineering degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum C1)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and Polish)
  • Holder of Polish Security Clearance at “Secret” level (“Tajne”)
  • A driven Systems Engineering practitioner, ideally with an appreciation of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • Ideally, experience in eliciting, writing, management and verification of requirements
  • Ability to work proactively and flexibly; able to respond quickly when programme priorities change
  • Experience in defence sector would be an asset
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Poland and monthly within Europe

Responsibilities

  • Support the functional integration of MBDA products into a wider Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System (including Command and Control and Radar Systems) in conjunction with customer and industrial partners
  • Work with customer and industrial partners on systems engineering topics to define System Requirements to support product development, including evolution paths for future development
  • Work with customer and industrial partners on system functional integration aspects including generation of Interface Control Documentation (ICD) and Systems Architecture definition
  • Define System integration requirements and verification plans
  • Conduct post trial analysis and reporting
  • Write technical documentation
  • Conduct technical reviews both internally and in conjunction with the customer
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team on technical issues, queries and conflict resolution including coordinating responses to and from the customer and industrial partners
