A Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent work experience) is required, along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with automated systems.
Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens), Robot (ABB), and software languages such as SQL, Linux, Python is required, plus excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
This is an onsite role involving day-to-day operations of Symbotic’s robotic material handling system with customers; employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to clients and other customer locations.
Candidates need to work under pressure in changing priorities, have a high sense of urgency, a desire to learn new equipment, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Strong candidates have the required degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years with automated systems, hands-on robotics troubleshooting skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
