Previous experience as RN in most hospital nursing situations, including critical care
Operating Room experience is preferred
ACLS certified
PALS certified
BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment
High energy level with ability to work under stress and exhibit maturity, stability, and flexibility
Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with Medical Staff

Responsibilities

Responsible for all nursing care of patients in the operating room, recovery room, endoscopy
Responsible for pre-operative education
Requires call time
Day shift, 72 hours every 2 weeks, with on call hours
