Requirements

4+ years of previous customer-facing technical support experience, ideally at an advanced level
Experience with SQL databases and advanced SQL Query Optimization, including familiarity with at least one commercial or open source database to decipher its EXPLAIN plan and understand performance impacts or improvements
Solid devops/sysadmin skill set, hands-on with Linux (e.g., finding files, checking system I/O utilization, measuring network throughput, navigating large log files)
Kubernetes expertise – deep experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes (e.g., pods, deployments, services, ingress; managing cluster resources; Helm or other package managers; debugging containerized environments; production-scale experience a strong plus)
Experience with a scripting or coding language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for problem-solving and navigating code bases
Familiarity with distributed systems and AWS/GCP, including deployment/maintenance of distributed applications and analyzing for performance bottlenecks or single points of failure
Flexibility to work 5-day week (Monday-Friday) in either 11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST or 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST shift based on business needs
Availability to participate in on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Provide email and live technical support to enterprise customers as the first-line-of-defense for complex technical issues, bug diagnosis, or critical outages
Identify and reproduce product issues and submit formal bug reports or feature requests to the appropriate Engineering team
Collaborate with software developers, sales engineers, and technical account managers to keep teams updated on customer issues
Work to streamline and improve Support and Engineering processes and tools, author new internal run-books or public documentation, and help improve team efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure customers have a positive support experience during every interaction
Participate in on-call rotation that may include weekends and holidays
