Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a preference for an MBA, MA, or MS in a relevant discipline. They should have at least 10 plus years of progressively more responsible materials work experience or a related discipline, along with 8 plus years of demonstrated experience at a supervisory/managerial level. Applicants must have a comprehensive understanding of applicable Hong Kong regulations and extensive experience in managing project teams. Strong verbal and written analytical/problem-solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, as well as documented experience delivering research information that adds value to management’s decision-making process. Advanced personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and specialized applications, are required.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and continuously improving a best-in-class supply chain organization for the country/region, overseeing demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, freight and distribution, and customer service. They will also manage the budget and spending of the HK supply chain, including 3PL management, monitor team performance and training needs, fulfill team aspirations, and provide on-job training. The role involves providing leadership, partnering with key stakeholders to drive process improvement, redefining systems and structures for efficiency, developing strategies for optimizing service levels and inventory, collaborating with various functions, preparing forecasts and budgets, establishing key performance metrics, developing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and internal controls. Additionally, the manager will participate in teams, committees, and training, apply continuous improvement tools, and manage corrective actions.
