Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Human Resources, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management is required, including at least 3 years specifically focused on warranty, spare parts, and RSPL. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience leading and developing a team, with involvement in succession planning, is necessary. Experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, such as automation, robotics, or industrial tech, is preferred. Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with proficiency in ERP and eProcurement systems like SAP, and contract lifecycle management tools. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus. The role requires a minimum of 20% travel, a valid driver's license, and the ability to manage expenses personally.
The Manager, Procurement will develop and execute category strategies for Warranty, Spares, and RSPL, conducting market research and supplier segmentation to inform sourcing decisions. They will lead all procurement activities related to warranty claims, including processing and cost recovery, and drive cost savings through competitive bidding, contract optimization, and demand management. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of Buyers and Supply Follow Up Specialists, establishing strategic supplier relationships, and leading RFx processes, contract negotiations, and vendor renewals. The manager will partner with internal teams to evaluate supplier performance using KPIs and SLAs, collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and External Manufacturing on sourcing and warranty decisions, and serve as a subject matter expert on category management and procurement best practices. They will also lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and mentor junior team members.
