Requirements

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
APICS certification (or equivalent relevant experience) is strongly preferred
More than 5 years of managerial experience, with a focus on S&OP/IBP processes and material handling
Experience in designing and structuring teams to meet strategic objectives and performance targets
High level of IT literacy, with advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Access
Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies, as well as project management experience
Demonstrated commercial exposure and ability to operate in cross-functional business environments
Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing and developing diverse teams
Excellent presentation and communication skills, particularly in coordinating and collaborating across Business, Production, and Supply Chain functions
Strong influencing and negotiation skills; able to interact effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels
Ability to delegate effectively, foster collaboration, and mobilize collective team efforts toward shared goals
High analytical capability, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
Ability to quickly adjust to changing environments, shifting priorities, and emerging technologies, while maintaining high performance and a positive mindset

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Material Management departments across both Bad Säckingen and Bergkamen sites, ensuring efficient and reliable operations
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations in all areas of warehousing, material handling, transportation, and cargo securing
Collaborate closely with Site Managers as an integral part of the local leadership teams in Bad Säckingen and Bergkamen
Align external customer demand with site capabilities, balancing business needs and operational constraints
Act as a key driver and supporter of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and initiatives at the site level
Manage and optimize site inventory, ensuring alignment with corporate inventory targets and supply chain goals
Serve as the primary point of contact for Customer Service, Supply Network Planning, and the Quality team
Oversee production planning and scheduling, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution
Ensure high levels of warehouse performance, organization, and process efficiency
Coordinate planning and handling of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
Provide seamless logistics support for production, ensuring timely material availability
Maintain direct communication and alignment with the Distribution and Transport teams to ensure delivery performance
Identify and implement opportunities for network and process optimization across the supply chain
