Requirements

Member of the site senior management team, reporting to the Site Director
Overall responsibility and control of the plant supply chain function
Primary responsibility for all planning, purchasing, and warehousing activities to support forecasted production plans and plant/network strategies
Provide leadership, direction, and management for the Materials function to meet plant deliverables, develop people, competencies, and systems
Lead logistics and supply chain team to meet performance targets, KPIs, and inventory targets
Pro-actively manage and develop talent within the team for career paths and succession planning
Nurture positive engagement levels within Materials and site teams
Work collaboratively with site Leadership Team to meet Senior Stakeholder expectations
Manage supplier base and coordinate procurement of materials to support production, minimize costs, within Abbott Code of Conduct and applicable laws
Develop relationships with other manufacturing sites, Corporate functions, ANSC Materials groups, and cross-divisionally within Abbott
Maintain key tracking and trending data on sourcing, liaise with external bodies and suppliers
Ensure compliance with local (including ISO) and Abbott rules, policies, and regulations for warehouse, shipping, and purchasing

Develop and grow relationships with other sites, Corporate functions, ANSC Materials groups, and cross-divisionally for purchasing and supply chain activities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key purchasing and supply areas through relationships
Maintain key tracking and trending data for site sourcing and liaise with relevant external bodies and suppliers
