Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production operations to ensure products are built safely, on time, and to quality specifications
  • Maintain compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other medical device regulations
  • Communicate daily goals, priorities, and performance expectations to the manufacturing team
  • Identify and escalate production issues promptly to minimize schedule disruptions
  • Lead and motivate manufacturing associates to achieve individual and team performance goals
  • Conduct employee training to ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, and GMP
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and adherence to safety and quality procedures
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to foster a positive work environment
  • Execute production plans, adjust staffing/resources, and ensure proper documentation of production records, deviations, and maintenance
  • Partner with planning and supply chain to optimize materials and inventory
  • Monitor Plan vs. Actual (P vs. A) performance and identify root causes for variances
  • Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards; support nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, and quality audits
  • Maintain a safe work environment, conduct safety inspections, and encourage reporting of unsafe conditions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean events, 5S, and standardization projects
  • Provide management direction in product approval through the production cycle and oversee production schedules
