Responsibilities

  • Leading, supervising, instructing, and further qualifying pre-series warehouse employees, carrying out instructions, and assessing employee performance
  • Leading and motivating employees to take initiative, improve performance, foster cooperation, and promote safety thinking for accident prevention
  • Ensuring timely warehousing, picking, dispatch, and transport of materials, considering the customer/supplier principle and production/delivery program
  • Monitoring and ensuring economical use of equipment and vehicles, initiating and monitoring maintenance measures, minimizing "violent damage," and documenting, analyzing, and countering it
  • Collaborating with Planning and IT-Planning Departments to ensure failure-free operations, establish action plans, and follow up on defined measures
  • Carrying out the role responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, and involved/affected departments, in compliance with guidelines, standards, and regulations
  • Performing appropriate tasks in pre-series logistics based on individual skills, even if not explicitly listed in the job posting
  • Managing operations and people in the pre-series logistics warehouse for a given working shift/area, ensuring internal material flow and in-time supply to assembly, planned in agreement with pre-series production and quality departments
