Bachelor’s degree in an applied science or equivalent experience
Five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of basic thermodynamics, cryogenics, compressors, motors, pumps, refrigerant systems, valves, electronic instrumentation, maintenance scheduling, and operator qualification process
Knowledge of NFPA 59, 59A, and 49 CFR Part 193 and 192
Ability to use computer systems to run plant operations
Ability to function under stress in emergency situations and make timely, sound decisions
Demonstrated ability to speak to public organizations on technical matters regarding LNG/LPG Plant Operations
Demonstrated competency and proficiency in oral and written communications
Customer driven; displays initiative; accepts responsibility; holds others accountable; participates in and facilitates team effectiveness; thinks and acts analytically; makes sound decisions; applies knowledge and skill to solve problems and respond promptly, appropriately, and constructively to employees
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary

Responsibilities
Provide overall supervision of LNG/LPG facility operation and maintenance requirements
Ensure LNG/LPG plant personnel are trained and operator qualified to safely perform functions as required by federal and state codes
Ensure all plant operations and maintenance are conducted in accordance with applicable codes and standards, emphasizing public and employee safety
Work with Gas Control on plant operation and inventory management, including vaporization and liquefaction operations
Establish and maintain close working relationships with public and local safety officials, Eversource Gas Operations, and provide updates on LNG/LPG activity
Develop, prepare, and manage capital, operations, and maintenance budgets for LNG/LPG facility operations
Review and approve time and vehicle reports, purchase requisitions, and invoices related to department activity, adhering to Eversource policies
Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and repair
Oversee the Control Room to assure safe, reliable operation
Manage Control Room response to emergency and alarm situations, including pressure, temperature, and flow alarms
Oversee Plant activities
Fill in for shiftwork as needed and oversee budget development/oversight
