Requirements

  • One year of supervisory experience in a related environment
  • Three years experience working with medical insurance or in a pharmacy environment
  • Must live within 75 miles of a CVS Specialty Location
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff in the Benefits Verification Department and provide direction within Pharmacy operations to ensure patient benefits are verified according to company guidelines, meeting patient expectations for exceptional customer service and business profitability
  • Direct daily workflow to ensure production and quality goals are met
  • Coordinate procedural changes
  • Resolve issues/problems related to the department and the company
  • Evaluate and review employee performance
  • Coach, motivate, and counsel staff, including administering disciplinary action when necessary
  • Interview and hire staff
  • Provide daily supervision to ensure department and company policies and procedures are followed
  • Direct and implement department and pharmacy-wide projects
  • Track and report progress of projects
  • Analyze call/performance statistics
