Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
Demonstrated enthusiasm for the mission of NYCEDC
Demonstrated written, verbal, and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in using database and presentation tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities

Working within Commercial and Industrial South portfolio on real estate assets that span across Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island
Assist in market research, due diligence, and financial analysis for active and prospective projects
Assist in drafting Request for Proposals (RFPs), Scopes of Work, and feasibility analyses for leasing and development opportunities
Contribute to financial modeling and valuation of active assets and development opportunities
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and memos for internal and external stakeholders
Support lease negotiations and the preparation of related documents and analyses
Participate in project management, construction, and environmental remediation meetings
Engage with local stakeholders through task forces, community engagement initiatives, and public programming
Assist Portfolio Managers with lease administration, compliance tracking, and portfolio performance monitoring
Provide general support to the Commercial and Industrial South team on cross-departmental initiatives and special projects as needed
