Requirements

Candidates must be enrolled in a Master of Business (MBA) or other advanced professional degree program with a graduation date in Spring or Summer 2027. Applicants must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from May 18 to August 7, 2026, and must not require future sponsorship to work in the United States. A minimum of three years of prior work experience before graduate school is required, along with demonstrated leadership experience in professional, academic, military, or extracurricular roles. Preferred qualifications include strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, intellectual curiosity, flexibility, active involvement in on-campus or community activities, a commitment to innovative and strategic thinking, and a passion for the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

MBA Interns will contribute to enterprise-level initiatives across various business functions, driving strategic projects and gaining exposure to executive leadership. They will develop skills and insights for a successful post-MBA career in healthcare, tackling ambiguous challenges within the healthcare industry. Interns will lead meaningful projects aligned with critical business initiatives, engage with senior leaders and peers through networking events, and receive guidance from mentors and coaches. They will also participate in leadership development workshops and training, experience Humana's culture through DEIB initiatives and volunteerism, and showcase their work for potential full-time roles or leadership programs post-internship.
