Success Enablement Manager

Are you excited to accelerate our Customer Success organization?

Jobber is seeking a Success Enablement Manager to join our Success Enablement team!

Company Overview

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience.

Jobber's culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. Our Executive team has over thirty years of industry experience, and we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

The Team

The Enablement team is a central function within Jobber's Customer Success organization, supporting the growth and performance of Customer Onboarding, Product Support, and Sales Expansion. As a Center of Excellence, Enablement owns the programs, tools, and frameworks that drive operational excellence and skill development in these areas. We work cross-functionally to ensure that every team member—regardless of channel or customer type—has the knowledge, confidence, and support to deliver value.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, Enablement & QA, the Success Enablement Manager will help provide our Success Expansion teams with the information, content, and tools they need to operate more effectively.

One of your core responsibilities will be to partner with our front-line sales manager group and assist them in achieving key KPIs. You’ll become a critical member of the enablement team by creating and managing sales content, helping with the facilitation of materials and courses, and assisting in the ongoing training and development of our world-class sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Help create and maintain Jobber’s Sales playbooks and ensure consistency of processes and messaging across the team.
  • Design, build & test in-person, on-demand, and virtual enablement content.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to improve enablement content, delivery, and impact.
  • Partner with required stakeholders to identify and understand process gaps and develop resources (customer stories, marketing collateral, competitive intelligence, etc.) that will help push opportunities and deals forward.
  • Contribute to, help organize, and champion important sales events like quarterly kickoffs, lunch and learns, and other training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Proven years of experience working in sales or customer service within a high-volume, short-cycle, B2B environment, with a track record of ambitious career growth, consistent achievement of targets, and being able to motivate others to do the same.
  • Experience building out and executing sales playbooks.
  • The ability to dig into a project. You’ll need a strong understanding of how our team operates, what drives success, and what resonates with our customers. Seeing the solution from different angles and providing solutions that cater to different learning styles.
  • A knack for identifying gaps in our process and how to fill them. Thinking outside of the box and our current process and coming up with smart solutions.
  • A high level of organizational and time management skills.
