Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group advising on academic, personal, and social challenges

  • Intervene early with persistence strategies and support students through to program completion
  • Foster a growth mindset culture by encouraging resilience, belonging, and purpose
  • Address behavioral or professionalism concerns, document accurately, and make referrals in line with institutional policies
  • Track performance, identify trends, and maintain accurate records to guide evidence-based interventions
  • Create materials and updates that highlight student services; serve as liaison with faculty, leadership, and community resource partners
  • Design and lead workshops, events, and activities that enhance student engagement and campus culture
  • Stay current on policies, procedures, and higher education regulations affecting student success
