Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a strategy-focused role, such as Management Consulting (Top-tier or boutique strategy firm), Corporate Strategy or Strategic Planning at a large, complex organization, or Investment Banking
  • Proven experience in defining, structuring, and launching large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
  • Exceptional Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly structure complex, ambiguous business challenges and drive to clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business models, value drivers, and financial implications of strategic choices
  • Executive Communication: Superior ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex information effectively and succinctly to C-suite and executive audiences (written and verbal)
  • Strategic Thinking: The capacity to see the big picture, understand market dynamics, and connect tactical execution to long-term strategic goals
  • Influence & Leadership: Ability to lead without direct authority

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Executive Leadership to define, clarify, and articulate business strategies (e.g., Partnership strategy, Go-To-Market strategy, Make-Or-Buy strategy, etc.)
  • Conduct internal and external research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform and validate the strategic direction
  • Synthesize complex information into a clear, compelling, and organizationally aligned business strategy
  • Translate the approved strategy into a structured Strategic Program: defining scope, key phases, critical success factors, required investments, and a high-level roadmap
  • Develop the business case for the strategic program, quantifying expected value and impact
  • Design, establish, and lead the initial governance structure for the Strategic Program (e.g., Steering Committees, Working Groups, Leadership updates, etc.)
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and decision-making rights within the program structure
  • Identify and secure cross-functional resources necessary for initial program ramp-up
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Strategic Program and the Leadership Team/Executive Sponsors
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and high-impact progress reports and presentations to the LT, focusing on outcomes, risks, and required executive decisions
  • Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, roadblocks, and strategic misalignment
  • Drive initial execution momentum by defining immediate next steps, leading key workshops, and ensuring working groups are effectively translating strategy into deliverables
  • Track initial milestones and health of the program against the Strategic intent
  • Develop a clear transition plan and documentation for a seamless handover of the ongoing program management to a dedicated PMO or functional Project Manager once the program is stable and operationalized
