Requirements

  • Ability to lead and prepare medium-to-high complexity strategic sourcing transactions, negotiations, and supplier selection (including competitive bidding) for products and services
  • Experience interfacing with other sourcing teams, business leaders, legal, and risk partners for each transaction
  • Capability to manage contracts and relationships for suppliers within categories including Technology (including AI), Marketing, Human Resources, Professional Services, and Facilities
  • Proficiency in communicating project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders and senior managers
  • Skill in ensuring the contracting team (Contract Advisory) receives documents in good order
  • Ability to ensure the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team receives proper information about each transaction
  • Competence in communicating contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposures to key stakeholders
  • Expertise in ensuring proper closure of transactions including accurate data and proper handoff to the business lead and supplier
  • Proficiency in performing supply market data analysis, recommending suppliers, identifying industry trends, and aligning category strategies with overall business strategy
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and insights into category strategies aligned to business funding and forecasting
  • Knowledge of best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences
  • Ability to prepare and present analysis, findings, potential solutions, and craft data into compelling stories with actionable insights
  • Skills in building and maintaining effective relationships, proactively fostering communication between internal and external stakeholders
  • Capability to drive engagements, resolve issues, involve stakeholders as needed, proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues
  • Proficiency in communicating solutions on key issues to management and stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in
