Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred and relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree. Prior retail management experience and experience as a CVS Supervisor are preferred. Applicants must be willing to accept promotion roles within their market, accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location within the designated market, and transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the same market, and be able to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
The Store Manager In Training will communicate effectively with their team, perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service, execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth, manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability, actively engage in Key Learning Experiences to support their path to promotion, and support the store as a management team member and lead in accordance with CVS values and policies. They will also engage colleagues to support the company’s purpose of ‘helping people on their path to better health.’
