Interest in retail leadership and development toward Executive Team Leader (Assistant Store Manager) role
Ability to work 40 hours per week in a hands-on training program

Responsibilities

Work closely with managers and team members to understand Target’s retail business and excel in a management role
Lead amongst the team, identify and work towards store priorities, and deliver great guest service
Drive guest experience and impact store’s financial, team, and operational performance
Work alongside a mentor, learn to lead their department, and step into leading the mentor's department with guidance
Lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide exceptional guest experiences
Participate in ongoing developmental conversations and support execution of daily operations
Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading amongst team members and aligning the team on daily business priorities
Learn guest service fundamentals, build and manage a guest-first team culture, guest engagement, problem-solving, and resolution
Understand retail business fundamentals, set and plan department monthly/quarterly workload, and manage team to deliver service and sales goals
Manage a team of hourly team members and leaders, create business strategies and goals, and handle recruiting, selecting, and talent management
