Fall Externs work part-time January 2026 - April or May 2026 (dates may be flexible depending on school requirements). Fall and Spring externships can be on a part-time schedule (usually 15-20 hours per week) or a full-time schedule.

The extern will gain practical experience working on issues related to copyright, fair use, and audio licensing, including evaluating copyright issues in audio content, researching copyright issues, making fair use determinations, drafting permissions agreements, and assisting with rights management.
