Responsibilities

Build and lead a diverse team of highly capable engineers
Define, evolve and communicate the team’s vision, mission, technical strategy and roadmap
Build strong relationships with Engineering, Product and other external stakeholders; work with them to influence roadmaps to include centralized tools/technologies/frameworks/standards
Work on and lead multiple projects and initiatives with competing timelines and demands
Be a coach to the engineers on the team, helping them succeed in their current role while preparing them for future roles
Set and fulfill the engineering hiring plan for the team, including screening and interviewing
End-to-end ownership from setting up frameworks to evangelize best practices, continuous improvements and optimizations of code and processes, and ensuring team members adhere to those best practices during design and development
Write, debug and refactor code and contribute as an individual contributor as situation demands
Help manage and grow the activation fullstack team by setting context, resolving blockers, removing distractions, instituting smart processes, introducing best practices and recruiting new members
Work closely with other teams, product managers, designers across different geographic regions for planning, designing and execution
Maintain high quality of the team’s outcomes to meet and exceed expectations of customer support and other stakeholders
Develop and foster a fun and productive workplace environment
Guide the engineering team on coding, design and architecture on major projects
Support and own the experience, performance and stability of how customers interact with the Activation product (team responsibility)
Design and develop new high performance APIs and UI features (team responsibility)
Help drive AI oriented features of LiveRamp Activation (team responsibility)
Handle production issues and maintain good health of existing features and their infrastructure/code (team responsibility)
Work collaboratively with other engineering teams, product managers, customer support across different geographic regions (team responsibility)
Evangelize high quality software engineering practices towards building data infrastructure and pipelines at scale (team responsibility)
Support Security, Compliance and Backup/Disaster recovery governance in production infrastructure (team responsibility)
