Requirements

  • Expert understanding of designated systems and ability to serve as a subject matter expert on behaviors, implementation trade-offs, customer needs, clinical applications, and applicable technologies
  • Demonstrated portfolio-centric approach to developing programs incorporated into platform strategies
  • Skills in planning product development work, including capturing requirements, designing solutions, defining behaviors, investigating issues, evaluating trade-offs, and verifying output
  • Ability to lead programs exercising significant novelty and integration across disciplines and team members
  • Capability to plan and execute department strategy, gather information, frame problems, devise/execute plans, track progress, adjust/measure success
  • Experience in design and conducting system level characterization/verification of complex systems; collecting, organizing, analyzing, and documenting test results
  • Strong organizational and management skills to deliver programs, prioritize tasks (urgent vs. important), and assess cost/benefit trade-offs
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, platform architects, and leaders; influence stakeholders; communicate effectively with teams and senior management

Responsibilities

  • Lead programs with significant novelty and integration across disciplines and team members
  • Apply portfolio-centric approach to develop programs incorporated into platform strategies achieving “win/win” scenarios
  • Plan and execute department strategy to deliver responsibilities, improve development efforts, and enhance the organization
  • Organize and manage work to deliver programs; lead execution of assigned work; prioritize tasks and assess trade-offs
  • Design and conduct system level characterization/verification of complex systems; collect, organize, analyze, and document test results
  • Participate in broad cross-functional reviews of work output
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, platform architects, and leaders to drive work to completion and resolve issues
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management; keep leadership informed of progress and issues
  • Innovate within program work to improve the organization, solve technical challenges, and develop intellectual property
  • Support all Company initiatives, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements; comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and procedures
